Review & Recommendations

Previously this restaurant offered a 4-course tasting menu, starting with the best selection of poppadoms and dips you will ever have tried. You then have a choice between several different delicious small plates before moving on to your main where I highly recommend the pork cheek vindaloo, it is quite spicy but not as spicy as the vindaloo name may imply and it is full of rich and deep flavours.

Unfortunately, this deal has been removed and only the standard tasting menu of 95£ is available with some minor additions to the menu but no extra courses. The muntjac biryani, their house special dish, was too floral for my taste but it is popular among other visitors to the restaurant. At this price, I can't recommend this restaurant however delicious the food was. If you are looking for high-quality Indian food at a better price I would recommend any of these alternatives: Dishoom, Kiricket, Hoppers.

Alternatively, the lunch menu at 39£/44£ seems to be a similar deal to the early evening menu and would be a great way to experience this Michelin Starred Restaurant.
